Victory Video: Productions for Education and Training
Video has many applications in the fields of education and training. "To see ourselves as others see us" is an obvious one. Many people in business organisations need to know how to come across well and how to use the media effectively, and coaching using video feedback is a quick and highly effective part of the process. The importance of personal and organizational confidentiality is understood and respected throughout the production process.
Still more fascinating is to learn about the functioning of a team or group through video-assisted consultation, a process that looks at and values the differing roles people play, and works to create stronger and more effective team work. In this example, a company engineer demonstrates software operations for a college CCTV system. Once edited, the college keeps its own reference DVD for use alongside manufacturers' manuals. College staff can use the DVD for the induction of new staff without having to call on expertise from the installation firm.
